I agree with much of what you say. I cannot see myself being tied down to one simple organized religion. I think there is some truths and some falsehoods in every religion that is out there, I find that I shall believe in what I believe and feel no need to fallow a specific one.

I agree.I believe that there is some ''super natural thing'' that created us and watches over us, but I cant simply say ''It's God'' because I dont know what it is...People created the term God, just to have something to pray to and believe in.

so that means your agnostic, am i right? agnostisism is the belief in some sort of super natural being out there, but not exactly a god or a heaven or a hell or S*** like that.

I am a Christian. As portrayed by Family Guy we suck. Anyways I think the coolest religion is Jewish. I've been at my friend Toby's who is a Jew and I got presents on each of the 4 days I was there.

Isn't an atheist someone who worships the demon himself, instead of the holy figure? If not, then I find the term atheist quite offensive. I'd much rather prefer to be called Anti-Religious. I think believing in a higher power without any viable proof of its exhistance is just childish. Basically what can be said, is that worshipping god is just like worshipping an imaginary friend.

Thats just me though, and I respect everyone's decisions whether they are similar or different than mine. Fighting over religions in which one is right and wrong is just immature, and trying to convert one to another is nothing more than mere brainwashing. Nothing can prove whom is right and who is wrong except for the "holy" figure himself. Either that, or death.

For me, i cherish every second I breathe, knowing that I have no care as to what others think.

Straight up...no we don't.

Here are my beliefs. There is no god and there is no heaven or hell. Infact I don't beleive that there is any higher powers at all. All humans have are ourselves and possibly some kind of other species on another planet. And nobody better laugh that I believe in aliens. I would be stupid not to. There are a hundred billion suns and odds are that one of them has a planet thats hospitable to "somthing". There thats my opinion and my beliefs. Nobody else has to beleive them just me.

inhales deeply...whew.

the word atheist means the exact same thing as anti-religious. 'a' is a prefix that means not, and theist is using the greek root word for god, so athiest means not religous, pretty much reflecting the term anti-religious.

and to all the atheists, you have no more proof that a god does not exist than you have proof that a god does exist. i agree with Skie that theological debates are immature, as neither of you have any evidence to proove right or wrong.

basically, "athiests" don't believe in anything religious period. no god, no religion, no thinly paged thick books to read, no rules to follow.

Being an anarchist myself, anti-religious is just adding more freedoms to myself. And I like that. Being controlled is for the weak minded.

no its not really.

[toutlly being gay]dictionary definitions of religion are beleifs in supernatural power/s, or a set of principles based on a spiritual beleif. Atheists dont beleive in supernatural powers, because they have no religion, and thats what religion is. They may have principles, but they dont base them on spiritual beleifs because thats religion, and they are without religion. So atheism isnt a religion, its just a beleif, one without spirits or supernatural powers.[/toutlly being gay]

sorry bout that.
