I posted this in another forum about how I found two programs like photoshop. Well the one only runs on a 64 bit cpu and is awesome. The second one is called gimp which is kinda popular for open source photo editing.
http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html
I looked at it some and I don't know to much but it seemed to have all the tools you needed for some cool pics.
It kinda is a mix of photoshop and fireworks. idk if you can do animated gif's but if you can mock arador... I mean have fun. ;)
Well I didn't mess with it to much so I know how to use some of the features as much as you do.
Simple way to learn is just mess around.

The GIMP is really quite a versatile photo editing program. I've never used it, but those who have say that it resembles Photoshop quite well.

As mentioned, its a free alternative to photoshop that you really can't go wrong with. If you don't have the money to fork over for photoshop, GIMP is the next best alternative. Did i mention its free? lol

GIMP is also a favorite amongst the Linux community, since Photoshop has not been ported to Linux. More often than not, GIMP is also grafted into various Linux versions as the standard photo editing program (no need for MS paint *laughs*).

well there is paint.net which is better then gimp but no one can run it because they don't have a 64 bit processor.

Are you talking about a program called Paint.net? Because paint.net just leads you to a site about a brand of paint.

OH That! I've tried that before, a while ago, but I found Photoshop to be much more useful, considering the mods you can download for it like brushes and ect. though. It is worth a try though ^^

Yeah the whole point is for people who can't afford photoshop, so don't post here if you are going to mock it.

You told me you didn't even try the program.
All your telling these ppl to do is buy photoshop even though most of them can't afford it.
So yeah, I found a free alternative since people DID ask if there was a free alternative before.
So no, I don't think you coming on here and telling them that its a pos when you have no clue wtf you're talking about.
